Updated 19th April 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the booking, purchase, and participation in offerings provided by The Glass Veil™ Ltd.
By using this website, making a booking, purchasing an offering, or participating in any session, workshop, retreat, event, programme, or related service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, sessions, workshops, retreats, events, digital materials, programmes, and related offerings provided by The Glass Veil™ Ltd through this website or otherwise.
2. Eligibility
All offerings are intended for adults aged 18 and over unless expressly stated otherwise. By booking or participating, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
3. Nature of the work
The Glass Veil™ Ltd offers work that may include embodied, relational, energetic, movement based, sound based, breath based, ritual, rope based, educational, reflective, or facilitative elements, depending on the offering.
This work is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, crisis support, or legal or financial advice. No content, session, workshop, retreat, event, programme, or offering provided by The Glass Veil™ Ltd should be relied upon as diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of any particular result or outcome.
4. Bookings and payments
Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing. The Glass Veil™ Ltd reserves the right to refuse, decline, or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including where an offering is unavailable, unsuitable, unpaid, or cannot proceed safely or appropriately.
Prices are listed in GBP unless otherwise stated. The Glass Veil™ Ltd reserves the right to amend prices at any time, but any confirmed booking will be honoured at the price in force at the time of purchase. All sales are final.
Travel and location-based engagements
Where an offering is delivered at a location other than a venue arranged by The Glass Veil™ Ltd, and travel is required, reasonable travel, accommodation, subsistence, and associated expenses will be agreed in advance and charged in addition to the fee for the offering. A detailed breakdown will be provided prior to confirmation of any such engagement.
Bookings of this nature are confirmed only once both the fee and any agreed expenses have been received, or payment terms have been agreed in writing.
5. Statutory cancellation rights and early commencement
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a service contract within 14 days of booking without giving a reason. Where you request that a service begins within the 14-day statutory cancellation period, you acknowledge that by requesting early commencement you agree to waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where a service has been fully performed within that period, the right to cancel is lost.
Where early commencement has not been requested or agreed, the standard 14-day cancellation right applies and a full refund will be issued if cancellation is made within that window.
6. Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and lateness
1:1 sessions
Online 1:1 sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled once only. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.
In person 1:1 sessions cancelled with at least 72 hours' notice may be rescheduled once only. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Missed sessions and no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Late arrival may result in a shortened session. The Glass Veil™ Ltd reserves the right to refuse late entry or to decline to run a session where a participant arrives late, in which case the session will be treated as missed and no refund or reschedule will be offered.
Any cancellation rights required by law will continue to apply.
Online group work
All online group work is final sale. No refunds, credits, transfers, or rescheduling will be offered unless The Glass Veil™ Ltd cancels the offering or a refund is otherwise required by law.
If an online group programme includes live sessions only, and a participant misses a live session, that missed session is the responsibility of the participant and no refund, credit, replay, replacement session, or reschedule will be provided unless otherwise stated.
Workshops, in person events, and retreats
Bookings for workshops, in person events, and retreats are non-refundable, except where The Glass Veil™ Ltd cancels the offering or a refund is otherwise required by law. If a participant is unable to attend, any transfer to another person, credit, or transfer to a future offering will be at the sole discretion of The Glass Veil Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Retreat deposits and final payment
Retreat deposits are non-refundable.
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the retreat start date, unless otherwise stated. If the remaining balance is not paid by the due date, The Glass Veil™ Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
Programmes and block bookings
Any block sessions, programmes, or multi-session packages must be paid in full before the first session begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where a programme consists only of live sessions, missed sessions remain the responsibility of the participant and no refund, credit, or reschedule will be offered unless otherwise stated.
7. Changes and cancellations by The Glass Veil™ Ltd
The Glass Veil™ Ltd reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or make reasonable changes to any offering where necessary, including due to illness, safety concerns, venue issues, scheduling conflicts, facilitator availability, insufficient bookings, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where The Glass Veil™ Ltd makes a material change to an offering, reasonable notice will be given where possible. Where The Glass Veil™ Ltd cancels an offering, participants will be offered either: a transfer to a rescheduled date or alternative offering a refund of sums paid for the affected offering. The Glass Veil™ Ltd is not responsible for additional losses or expenses arising from cancellation or change, including travel, accommodation, loss of earnings, or other consequential costs, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Force majeure
The Glass Veil™ Ltd shall not be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, nor liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations, where that failure or delay arises from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to pandemic or public health emergency, extreme weather, natural disaster, venue closure or unavailability, failure of third party suppliers, transport disruption, power or internet outage, civil unrest, or facilitator illness or injury. Where a force majeure event prevents an offering from proceeding, The Glass Veil™ Ltd will use reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer an alternative. Where this is not possible, a refund of sums paid for the affected offering will be provided. The Glass Veil™ Ltd is not responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by participants in connection with a force majeure event, including travel, accommodation, or other expenses, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Participation, health, consent, and conduct
Participation in any offering is voluntary and at your own discretion.
You are responsible for your own wellbeing, choices, limits, and participation. You agree to disclose any information reasonably relevant to safe participation where requested, including injuries, medical conditions, accessibility needs, or other circumstances that may affect your participation. If you are pregnant, recovering from injury, living with a medical or mental health condition, or are unsure whether an offering is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate professional advice before participating. Participation in any offering is conditional on respectful conduct, personal responsibility, and regard for boundaries, consent, and group safety. The Glass Veil™ Ltd reserves the right to refuse participation, pause participation, or remove any participant without refund where reasonably necessary, including in cases of intoxication, unsafe behaviour, harassment, discrimination, abuse, disregard for consent or boundaries, or conduct that disrupts the integrity of the offering.
10. Confidentiality
The Glass Veil™ Ltd will treat personal information and what is shared in the course of the work with care, subject to the Privacy Policy and any legal, safeguarding, or ethical limits. Where group offerings are involved, confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed in respect of what other participants may disclose or repeat. All participants are expected to treat the privacy of others with discretion and respect.
11. Recordings, photography, and testimonials
No recording, photography, screenshotting, or reproduction of any session, workshop, retreat, event, offering, or related materials is permitted without prior written permission from The Glass Veil™ Ltd. The Glass Veil™ Ltd will not use participant testimonials, images, recordings, or identifying information for promotional purposes without permission.
12. Intellectual property and digital content
All content, materials, writing, recordings, branding, programme names, offering names, workshop titles, retreat titles, course materials, website content, and other intellectual property created by or made available through The Glass Veil™ Ltd remain the property of The Glass Veil™ Ltd unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, adapted, taught from commercially, recorded, or shared beyond personal use without prior written permission. Where digital content, recorded materials, or written resources are provided as part of an offering, these are licensed to you for personal use only. They may not be shared, forwarded, reproduced, or transferred to any third party. Access to digital content does not transfer ownership of that content.
13. Website content and availability
The Glass Veil™ Ltd aims to ensure that website content is accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error free, or free from omissions. Website content is provided for general information only and may be changed at any time without notice.
14. Liability

Subject to that, The Glass Veil™ Ltd shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss
- loss of profit, income, business, opportunity, goodwill, or reputation
- loss arising from your failure to disclose relevant information
- loss arising from your failure to follow instructions, boundaries, or safety guidance
- loss arising from events outside reasonable control
Any liability relating to a particular offering shall, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount paid by you for that offering.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
